Your First Visit to SoBe Dentist
When you arrive, you’ll be welcomed by our friendly staff in the lobby. We’ll provide you with new patient forms, including a health questionnaire, insurance details, and contact information. You’ll also receive helpful information about our office policies, including how we prioritize patient privacy.
Initial Examination
Your first dental exam will take about an hour. During this time, our experienced team will take the time to understand your oral hygiene routine and discuss any health concerns, including conditions like TMJ or sleep apnea. We believe in educating our patients to help them make informed decisions about their oral health. Our hygienist will clean your teeth, and then Dr. Maria Escoto and Dr. Alberto Mantovani will complete your examination. Based on their findings, they will provide recommendations for treatments such as dental veneers, the most popular cosmetic dental procedure, or dental implants to replace missing teeth. If needed, we’ll also discuss sleep apnea treatment with oral appliance therapy or solutions for TMJ.
Pain Concerns
We work to ensure our patients feel comfortable, and that includes minimizing their pain as much as possible. If you are undergoing a dental procedure, Maria Escoto D.D.S. and Alberto Mantovani D.D.S. will meet with you to discuss your pain tolerance and create a plan for pain management. Working together, we will treat your dental health problems in a way that minimizes pain and enables you to get back to your life faster.
